The Institute offers high quality facilities for seminars, business meetings, presentations or small group training sessions. Once a pub on the route to the goldfields, the building has been extensively remodelled to suit contemporary needs.

Hire of Building & Facilities

For all enquiries regarding hire of the building and facilities or to obtain our current rate schedule, please contact the Executive Officer at the Institute

The Institute Building

Behind the classic neo-Georgian facade, the architectural expression is minimalist and executed to the highest standard.

Conference Room

The conference room provides seating for up to 50 people and is ideal for corporate presentations and small conferences. Overhead projection, television, video, internet access and slide projection facilities are available. It opens on to a beautifully landscaped courtyard.

Paolini Room

The Paolini Room (named after one of the earliest and most enthusiastic supporters of the Institute, the late Albert J Paolini) is a spacious meeting and boardroom facility. It is ideal for community group meetings, small gatherings and other functions. It opens onto a gallery area.

Courtyard

The courtyard provides a relaxed and informal outdoor setting. It is a pleasant venue for summer cocktail parties or other social functions.

The gardens and plantings are overseen by landscape architect Mary Chapman. (Photography, Trevor Mein)

Members' Lounge

The Member's Lounge with its adjoining kitchenette, is available to all those who hire the building. With its log fire, polished timber floors and comfortable chairs, it is a cosy and intimate location for chats, break-out sessions and morning and afternoon teas.

Kitchenette

The kitchenette provides an urn, cups, glasses, wineglasses, a refrigerator, microwave, sink and dishwasher.

Tea and coffee service and catering can also be organised to your requirements.
