Benefits of Membership
In addition to a substantial discount on the journal,
Postcolonial Studies, membership offers free access to the
panel series, occasional lectures and social events at the Institute
as well as generous discounts on purchases of books from the book
series. Members will receive regular updates of our programme (both
through mailings and electronically) and will receive invitations
to members only functions.
Membership Subscriptions
Subscriptions can be taken out in a number of ways: online, in person at the Institute or by cheque. Annual subscription
rates are as follows:
- Student Membership: $20 per annum
- Student Membership (including subscription to Postcolonial Studies: $60 per annum
- Ordinary Membership: $40 per annum
- Ordinary Membership (including subscription to Postcolonial Studies): $80 per annum
- Corporate Membership: $100 per annum
All prices are in Australian Dollars and include GST.
NB: Those members electing to take up the journal subscription offer MUST provide a private residential mailing address and NOT a university or institutional address. This is required by our publishers, Taylor and Francis.

Subscribe in Person or by Mail
Annual subscriptions run for 12 months from the date
of payment. Personalised subscription reminder notices will be mailed
to members one month before their subscriptions are due to expire.Members
can pay their subscriptions in person at the Institute of Postcolonial
Studies or by cheque mailed to the Institute.
