The Institute has a longstanding commitment
to encouraging student participation, both in its governance as
well as other research and activist activities. Part of it has been
the establishment of a student group. Over the years, through the
work of early pioneers such as Trish Luker, Juliet Rogers and Adam
Driver, the group has enriched life at the Institute enormously.
However, as most of them have now completed their studies and taken
up academic positions, the group is currently undergoing some re-organisation.
