Join us this Saturday evening for a yarn between debut Gumbaynggirr and Gunggandji author Lay Maloney and Yugambeh editor and writer Arlie Alizzi, about Lay’s book Weaving Us Together (2025).

Weaving Us Together is a sharp and funny coming-of-age story following Jean O’Ryan, a non-binary Aboriginal person transversing the ups and downs of life, including finding their family, healing from trauma, and figuring out who they are.

Lay and Arlie will yarn about Weaving Us Together and reflect on the importance of Indigenous trans and queer storytelling.
